  1. Legion Season 1: Episode 1 - Introduction of Legion Part 1

I recently made a campaign called Legion (all cards custom or variant art). It has a new story, combining MARVEL and DC.
    The plot:
All super-villains have been captured. They were sent to a secret prison, that no hero, SHIELD agent, and only a few police know the location of. When all the super-villains arrive there, they take over the prison. The villains were trying to all get captured, so they could use a computer virus to close down all technology in the prison, and use the prison as new lair. A group of heroes ban together to try to stop the new group of villains, named Power Foes. The heroes call themselves Legion. Phil Coulson is in charge of the group. The group of heroes must stop the Power Foes and locate the prison. The group of heroes are... Cyborg... Iceman... Iron Fist... Rocket Raccoon... Thing... War Machine... and Wonder Woman. They also have the Vibranium Shield, which SHIELD had been taking care of since the death of Captain America (!?!?! More on that ...

  2. Batman Set Review - Part 2

Now that the Batman Set has been released, here is the review of the remaining cards not covered in Part 1.

Rather than go through every card, Iíve adjusted this review to cover those cards that have a specific type of ability or attribute that is usually desirable in play or team building. This entails those cards that provide Control, Direct Damage, Die Removal, Ramp/Churn, Cost Reduction effects, are Unblockable, requires your opponent to pay or lose life, or have above average A/D values. Also, at the end of this article Iíve commented on 6 additional cards that have other noteworthy abilities.

The letter in parenthesis after the sub-title is the cardís rarity.

    New Keywords:
Boomerang Ė Applicable to Action dice. After using this die, roll it. If you roll an [Action] Face, add it to your Prep Area.

Common Ground Ė Similar to Teamwork, in this ability the character die must be attacking to activate.

    Ruling - Ability

Hellcat has two different types of abilities on her card. One is a When Fielded ability and the other is a While Active ability.

    Hellcat's When Fielded Ability

A When Fielded ability only triggers when the character die is placed into the Field Zone from the Reserve Pool by paying it's fielding cost, or by a card ability that specifically says to 'field' the character die and not move or place the character die.

Hellcat's When Fielded ability says that you must name a target opposing non-Sidekick character when you field her die, which will replace any previous choices. Hellcat can only target an opposing non-Sidekick character die that's in the Field Zone for her ability. ...

This was a four week event that we ran recently. I wanted to share it with the community. Here is the breakdown:

Based off of the story of the Injustice comic books and video game, comes a multi-week campaign filled with Dice Masters action. The campaign is currently designed to run 4 weeks with scores carrying over from week to week. This can be run with a minimum of 2 players and up to any number, but any even number of players works the best. The basic breakdown of the set-up is as follows:

    • Each player will be assigned to either Regime (Team Superman) or Insurgency (Team Batman). Team Batman players cannot play against other Team Batman players, and same for Team Superman.
    • Batman/Superman will be a 9th character on the team, and are designated as the Team Leaders.
    • Each team will have a max dice limit of 21 (20 plus the starting leader die).
    • Each player starts

  5. Confusing Card of the Week #88 - Luke Cage: Harlem Raised

    Greetings Fellow Dice Fans!

For this week's confusing card of the week article, we're going to take a look at Luke Cage: Harlem Raised from the Marvel Defenders Team Pack.

    Ruling - Ability

Luke Cage's ability triggers only when he is blocked. When he's blocked, you may reroll him and if he rerolls into a character face, he gains Overcrush. If he rerolls into energy, you put him on his level one face and place him into the Field Zone and he will no longer be attacking.

Luke Cage's ability says that you may reroll him if he's blocked. This ability is optional, meaning if he's blocked, you aren't required to reroll him. If he's blocked and you decide to reroll him, he will remain on the character face that you rerolled him on and gain Overcrush.

If you choose to reroll a blocked Luke Cage die and it lands on an energy face, you will have to place his die back into ...
