So do Back For More abilities take effect as soon as you do your initial roll (before your reroll) similar to C Static, or after your reroll?

For the U Hit Monkey, if you pay the fist and he deals his combat damage to the opponent, will he go back to field zone or is he considered unblocked and go to the Used Pile?

Since X-23 says to roll all dice in both player's Prep Areas, would this cause Back For More abilities to be triggered? If so, who gets to use the effect of the opponent's Back For More abilities?

1.) Needs clarification. Not sure it makes a difference.

2.) Same as Cable from UXM. Returns to the Field.

3.) Back for More only triggers during original Roll & Reroll Step, so X-23 wouldn't trigger it.

      1) Could make a difference in the case of C Static. If you get to process your Back For More ability to boost a character that your opponent wants to hit with Static. You should be able to process all of your Back For More abilities before your opponent can process anything else.

      2) Official Ruling for Cable: http://win.wizkids.com/bb/viewtopic....e6e83e51#p9381

      3) I really wish the cards would list that part about the Roll and Reroll step. If you just take them at face value you would be playing them completely wrong. Luckily the insert makes things easier to figure out, unless you throw them all away.

1.) Good call. They should be triggered simultaneously, so active player would have priority.

      2.) Good find! Exactly.

3.) I kinda agree, but it's not intended to be played as written. Italicized text is supposed to be a very general reminder, with the Rulebook/Insert/Keywords page as the definitive full text (accounting for corner cases like this).

And now, as we've recently learned, the Keywords page on the WizKids site makes the insert easier to figure out. Especially as it relates to Back for More. So, you know, there's that.

I agree. I feel like the text on the cards should be more clear. I would hate to be playing a game (any game) based on the cards and learn that the cards were wrong all along. I think R Elf Wizard is a good example of the inconsistencies is this game and how things should be better explained. If you didn't know how experience is suppose to work then having R Elf Wizard doesn't explain anything to you.

Turns out the motorcycle global is a hard counter for the UC hit monkey. Suddenly both players are saving fists and not getting much else done...

Things I learned from a local Deadpool Rainbow draft this weekend (the second one we've done since it released).

X-23: Blades of Rage with just 2 dice and 1 Anger Issues die is enough enough to win. (that hurt) Even in draft where there was not a lot of prep I was seeing X-23 coming at me with an 11 attack.
In constructed where you can add more wants to get dice into Prep it could be ridiculous.

Fantomex: E.V.A. is super annoying to play against. even if you have a Villain on your team you have to keep it out there ready to block at any given time.
