• Looking for other Dice Masters players in your area?

Well, you can find them and help them find you by using our new Member Map!

On the Member Map you will find pins () representing all of our users that have chosen to add themselves to the map. Click on a pin to see the member at that location. On the map you will also find a brown pin that represents our best guess as to your location. If we're unable to determine your location, you will find your pin in the middle of Kansas.

You are the only one who can see your location/pin unless you click on the brown pin and remove the checkmark from "Do not show me on member map." We suggest you do so if you want other local players to be able to find you.

You can drag the brown pin to adjust your location to be as accurate or nonspecific as you wish, but we ask that you don't put pins in locations that mislead others. For example, if you live in Tuscon, Arizona, but don't want people to know your exact city, just drag your pin a little away from Tuscon, perhaps even all the way out to Phoenix if you want, keeping it somewhat local, but please don't drag it to Colorado, Russia, or the middle of the ocean. If you're that uncomfortable with your location being known, just leave your pin turned off instead (i.e., leave the checkmark in "Do not show me on member map").

While there aren't many players on the map yet--my pin in Central Wisconsin is the only one at the time of this writing--if we all add ourselves it will grow into a nice resource to find players.

Note: This map works on phones, but only so-so. Sorry! But please do try it out on your computer. We think you'll like it!

Really appreciate your work here. I know I've said it before, but I will say it again. It's stuff like this which will help grow the game.

I can't see you. Maybe you didn't uncheck the box?

With you added, the great lakes area is making a strong early showing! Two in Wisconsin, several around Lake Ontario and Erie on both sides of the border.

EDIT: and I see we have our first non-North American member registering on the map!

*Sigh* No one else our way yet. Maybe we'll just have to move to the Akron/Cleveland area.

Find my wife and I jobs and ok. I know this is a cardinal sin for a Pittsburgher, but I actually like Cleveland.

So I'm not able to use the map. I assume it's not mobile os. Do I need to use desktop browser?

Support for mobile OS's is very basic. It works so-so on Android, but desktop is where it's at for the map.

This is pretty dynamite! Where will we be able to find the Members map on a regular basis? Link on the home page perhaps? And how about a red/yellow/green status indicator when you click on someone's pin that is based off of the time since their last login...would just give you a quick indication if they are likely to be an active DM player of not.

If you click "community" in the forum, "members map" is the bottom option.

Good suggestions, Meatman. No promises, but we'll see what we can do about the colors when we get a chance. Nobody's inactive yet so we won't rush on that one.

Putting an image/link on the homepage (on the sidebar) is probably in the cards, at least for a while.
