• So What's The Plan? I'll tell you!

The one constant in life? Change! While we're sad that Randy has decided to move on from Dice Masters, the show must go on. So here's what's happening:

    RJRETRO, Managing Editor

RJ will be helping to make sure the trains run on time. Given his expertise, this was an easy fit. RJ has done a lot of great work here, and I'm glad that he's willing to contribute on this level too.

    The Podcasts

We're sunsetting The Attack Zone. As time went on, it became difficult to separate the topics that would have gone into that show vs. the other shows. The Six Pack will continue in some fashion, likely as a segment on another show.

As we were examining the various podcasts, we realized that the lines were blurring between TPA and TRP. It became difficult to tell them apart with the segments and discussions, and we didn't want that. Therefore, the Prep Area will become a weekly show and continue with all the same sorts of things.

TRP will move to bi-weekly and return to its roots of discussing a main topic. Think of it as NPR's "Pop Culture Happy Hour," but about Dice Masters. Top 10 lists? Yeah, we're still doing them.

    The Articles

We still have those Like the one you're reading!

Things will be a little helter-skelter for a few days as we retool and prep for some new stuff, but bear with us! We'll see you soon!

I don't like change, so I'm going to refer to @RJRETRO as Randy to keep things simple!

That's an interesting statement. Maybe Randy becomes RJ and vice versa...

      ...thanks for the welcomes, folks!

Aw, I'll miss TAZ, that one was my favorite. As a newer player that's got the basics down, I keep looking for more articles and podcasts featuring advanced strategy about unlimited constructed, and almost as soon as I found you guys, things seemed to dry up a bit, or be focused mostly on drafting (sadly I can't really draft in my area, no one likes doing it).

All I know is I have a 45 minute drive into the office; followed by a 45 minute drive home. There are not enough Dice Masters podcasts to keep me going all week long. So PEOPLE, get CASTING!!!!

With the elimination of TAZ, TPA will likely have more freedom to talk about constructed or unlimited formats, without feeling like we are steppin g on each others toes. Fear not, the content isn't going away as much as it is getting divided up.

^^^ This guy. The fact is that TPA and TRP already have facets that lend themselves to the same discussions. We rolled out Quadrant Theory on TRP, for example. That's certainly a "dig deep" topic, but we did it without TAZ at all - it didn't exist at that point.

This is good news, maybe TRP can be bonus sized with the new format!

I doubt that will happen, but I wouldn't rule out some bonus podcasts at some point.
