Tiny Heroes Format

**Thank you to Necromanticir for the contributions to flushing out this format.

I have received a good response on this website and at my local shop. Below is the version 1.0 of the format. I will add any additional edits as time goes on and the format is used. The format is intended to be fast and furious with lots of buying and lots of attacking/blocking. In many cases so far the winner has been the person who has been more consistent with their rolls. Give it a try and please give me your feedback!!!!

I like the sound of this...just a question, why go 25 LP instead of 20?

Also, what if a card makes other cards 3 cost or less? I am thinking specifically about Aquaman making JL 1 less to buy...does that count? Meaning you couldn't buy them until you have Aquaman in the field, but still? I know, I know, being picky but just wondering if anyone has tried that yet...

I can't say for sure, but I suspect that the 25 hp came from wanting to keep the game from being an absolute rush. I don't know how I feel about it...

As for cost reduction, no you may not bring character that have a printed cost of 4+. It's not that you can only purchase characters that cost 3 or less, but you cannot even bring a character that has a cost of 4+. This makes sure that nobody is bringing characters for globals which is one of the main aims of this format.

I really like this idea! We're looking at trying out different themes and formats, and anything that adds new challenges for experienced players while leveling the field a bit for newer ones is fantastic. Not sure about the 25 life, but would be interested in finding out the difference between how fast and furious it is at 20 and at 25. :-)

Thanks, yeah I assumed that was it, but wanted to make sure before I suggested it! Thanks again guys!

Card would have to have purchase cost of 3 or less before any reductions.

Going with 25 was to make it not a total rush down as the first couple of times I did it the game ended really quick.....that is of course the point, but it slowed things down a bit!

Try both 20 and 25 and see what you think!

I am not totally decided on the 25LP yet either, I am trying both currently. The 20LP ones are ending sometimes quick, which is ok as I do want the format the be fast and furious with lots of attacking!

Let me know what you think.

You hooked me with the Fast & Furious, kept me with the format. I love it. A fun way to field a lot of dice.

I'm definitely down with no SRs, but I feel like having so many different Beasts means it wouldn't be too stagnant.
