Confessions, TMI, and a Plea for Help

Confession time...

Confession 1: I don't read comics or graphic novels. Please, no lynchings!

Confession 2: I started playing Dice Masters so that I could meet people.

Probably too much information...

I am an extreme introvert. The kind whose computer is secretly (or if you ask my family, not so secretly) their best friend. Over the last couple of years, I have been trying to find ways to force myself to get out and meet people. So, when a FLGS (shout out for Meeple Madness) opened up near my house, I took at deep breath and joined the local board game meetup for some social interaction. The first thing I learned was what a FLGS was.

A new friend invited me to come by the store on an off week and learn a new game, Dice Masters. Normally, head to head battles are not my cup of tea. In fact, I still feel horrible when I attack my opponent. But, the shiny Organized Play cards are helping me get over that. What I discovered was a game where the people who play it are intelligent, kind, friendly, and caring. A true community. So, of course, I bought a ton of stuff and like any good statistician, started my database of card information.

Fast forward a year... I won the D&D RDW (a narrow margin of victory, but a victory none-the-less) at my FLGS and finished 6th in a WizKids Open - Dice Masters Regional Championship. I attribute most of that success to the time I have spent playing and learning with all my new Dice Masters friends.

Plea for help ...

Since September, I have been on a quest to find the artists for the cards in Dice Masters. I have had a couple signed at conventions. I was surprised the artists did not know that their art was being appreciated on a whole new format. I was lucky enough to get two of my favorites signed at Dragon*Con this year.

I have been steadily updating The Reserve Pool Wiki as I find new information. I have almost completed updating the Marvel and DC sets. I am still adding the ones for the Deadpool set (found all but Captain America with Mjolnir, Hit-Monkey, and Taskmaster, woo-hoo).

I attached a link to the missing art category. Anyone know of the artist and source of the remaining cards? If so, either post here, update the WIKI or send me a PM. Thanks!

I think I will try and tackle finding the artists for TMNT next.

I think I will sign off by saying, thanks for welcoming a non-gamer, non-comic book reader, non-D&D player into your community! No take backs!!!

Huge shoutout to @laurenkay , who has been doing amazing work on the Wiki recently!

One thing you can do is put the card into a Reverse Image Search on Google, that will frequently find the artwork if it's available online (as opposed to what I did, which was just looking through every comic cover on Marvel Wikia...)

    Thanks for the shout out!

I have been using the reverse image search. I owe it for most of the finds!!!
