Could Hush: Dr. Thomas Elliot be the new PXG?

I was playing around with making an all villain team using only the Batman set for the next event. Even though I failed at that, I think stumbled across what could be the new meta. With just a little help Hush: Dr. Thomas Elliot could be turned into an insane ramp machine by only being paired with one other card. What card you ask? Well, none other than the appropriately named Trusted Friend. Specifically, when it comes to its global.

The best way to visualize how it works is as an alternative more powerful form of Swarm or even an anti-Swarm when it when it comes to game play mechanics. Where instead of having to draw from your bag hoping you get that next Swarm die, you are always getting Hush die from Prep and you are always adding to it. The best part is unlike PXG where it costs 1 energy to put 2 in Prep. With this combo it always only costs 1 and is only limited to how many Hush die you have Active. So for example, if you had 4 Hush out and you roll a . You use that energy to target one of your opponent's dice and then KO all 4 your Hush dice, so by the beginning of your next turn you have 8 dice ready in Prep.

The only down side with the Hush/Trusted Friend combo is that the start up is a a bit slower compared to PXG, but once the ball gets rolling the positives will vastly out weight its negatives.

    Hi!

Since it's a "while active" ability I would rule Hush as only drawing one die from the bag, regardless of how many copies of him are KO'd.

Either way, is a great source of ramp.

If I were to field the Hush one at a time into an active BatFam character, then it would trigger multiple times. It's still unclear if there are multiples already in the filed if it would trigger multiple times. I want to say it would since the its a KO effect, but it is still ambiguous.

    Two quick comments:

    1) As @TheConductr pointed out, there is potential ambiguity with the case where you have multiple Hushes in the field and then field a Bat-character (or flip one). One could point to the Doomcaliber Knight ruling and argue that all Hushes would be KO'd and you'd only prep one die. I agree that this card is going to be popular, though, so it'd be great to get a ruling from WizKids.

    2) Hush does give you ramp, but it also gives you churn, which is also awesome. Which supports your comparison to PXG, in my mind!

Until we get a ruling, I would just field Hush dice one at a time with a Bat-character die in the field zone. Totally legit.

Trusted Friend : BAC is unnecessary!! Hush doesn't say there has to be an opposing Bat-Family die, just one in the Field Zone. He pairs amazingly with Ace the Bat Hound : Taking a Bite out of Crime (C - BAT), Batgirl : Commish's Daughter (C - GAF), or even Commissioner Gordon : "Good Cop" (C - BAT). I just wouldn't play him on a Villains team.
