Thread: Draft Module for Vassal

    Draft Module for Vassal

If I were to create a draft module for Dice Masters, would this be a good distribution? What I plan to do is create a separate module from the Dice Masters main game. Then I would create on "box" that everyone could pull from (I am assuming to only have a draft of 6 players max). In this "box" there would be:

    1x every SR
    2x every Rare
    5x every U
    9x every C

If anyone has a better suggestion on distribution, let me know.

I could easily create a separate box for every set and then a combined box with every set in it.

I think super rares need to be more rare. As ridiculous as it sounds, maybe something like 1xSR, 4xR, 10xUC, 18xC or something.

I have it currently set up as 12C, 6U, 2R and 1SR for each. going to look it over. Might be posted tomorrow

Based on the DC stats we collected:

    C:UC:R:SR=113.5:48:17:1.5 (approx).

    So:

    1 of each SR.
    11 of each R.
    32 of each UC.
    76 of each C.

    @Scorpion0x17 , wouldn't that net like 4:40*76 or 1:760 sr:c?

That said, I think your numbers guide the ratios... Just account for the number of each rarity (40, 32, 28, 4 or whatever it is, 30/30 uc/r with Flash and Constantine).

Wouldn't it be 40, 28, 32, 4? with the Black Canary mishap as well? This takes into account the 4 SR rares and commons as well as the 8 Common Starters. A net of 28 normal commons, 8 starter commons, 4 SR commons, 28 uncommons, 28 normal rares, 4 SR rares, and then 4 SRs.

    (28+8+4)+28+(28+4)+4=104
    Commons+UC+Rares+SR=Draft Set
    (138-10-(8*3)=104)
    Set-BAC-Starter=Draft Set

So, using @Scorpion0x17 's ratio and @Shadowmeld 's ratio we (roughly) get:

    15 of each common
    9 of each uncommon
    3 of each rare
    2 of each super rare

    Thoughts?

That certainly seems fair. and actually makes me feel less worried about AoU.

Since in that set it will be:

    15 of each common
    9 of each uncommon
    3 of each rare
    1 of each super rare

Which in the grand scheme of things isn't that much of a difference. So when we're doing our Draft module for that set, the change won't be had to effect.
