    Stealing my thunder here Dave

I'd posted this across in the forum a bit back. Sounds an interesting set, and someone very quickly pointed out we now get cards and dice in the Team Box (possibly the alternate promo card in place of a collectors/setup box).

It's a set I'll definitely be looking at nearer the time as a MASSIVE childhood fan of TMNT and an even bigger adult fan of dice masters!!!

I'm probably in the clear minority in that I have essentially zero interest in TMNT [might as well be YGO2 to me], so I'll probably just skip this.

I'll be interested to see how the non-collectable set will do. I know that the collectable model is a turn-off to many would-be players, so perhaps a widely successful single box set will challenge the current model.

I wonder how this will impact organized play. No boosters means no draft or sealed. If this means lots of constructed, particularly TMNT constructed, I'm pretty much looking at a few months haitus from DM. If this means drafts/sealed/leagues from older sets I'll be OK with that.

Everybody else have fun with it.

I loved the turtles as a kid. I am really looking forward to this set. Looks like it could be awesome and I would agree something to pull in the people who are not CCG fans

The one question I have... how many more than a dozen? Four Turtles, Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Krang... that's already ten... I sincerely hope to see guys like Leatherhead, Rat King, etc.

I hope that they get some good art for the cards and not just images from the cartoons.

    Probably up to your store.

This will fit into unlimited more than anything, most likely. There are Marvel/DC sets all around this so I don't think you'll be hurting for things to do.

Everyone should note the important phrasing here. More than "a dozen" is less than more than 20. So, this box set will have somewhere between 13 to 20 characters total.

The real question is does that number include the 5 characters that come with the team box, or just the main box/tin? (the article says in this "new series").

Just speculation, but it seems that the inclusion of cards/dice in the team box is a way of adding to the set without the foil packs. The main sets says it includes everything you need to play, not every card/character. Could be alt art promos as well. Either way, I'm in
