    Top 5 - Favorite Games

"I agreed that what really matters is what you like, not what you are like… Books, records, films – these things matter."
    - Rob Gordon
    High Fidelity (2000)

The preceding is my favorite quote from one of my favorite movies of all time. I can tell more about people from what they are into than anything.

I'm planning on making this a series because I love listing things. I decided to start with the obvious.

    What's everyone's top 5 favorite tabletop games?

    Here is mine currently.
    1. Dice Masters
    2. Summoner Wars
    3. Viticulture
    4. Dead of Winter
    5. Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn

Mine change all the time, but currently they are:

    1. Marvel Legendary.
    2. Dice Masters.
    3. Pandemic: The Cure.
    4. Pandemic.
    5. Flash Point: Fire Rescue.

I like all those games with the exception of Legendary, since I haven't played it.
Have you tried Police Precinct? Based on your last two picks, I think you might enjoy it.

    In no order whatsoever:

    Dice Masters
    Alien Frontiers
Heroscape/Arena of the Planeswalkers (CAN'T WAIT for expansions!)
Xia: Legends of a Drift System
    Sentinels of the Multiverse

Also getting a lot of play:
    Spyfall
    Telestrations

On my shelf but barely played and really want to play:
    Runewars
    Blood Bowl Team Manager
    Eclipse
    Letters from Whitechapel
Freedom: The Underground Railroad (perhaps one of the most beautiful games I own)

Legendary is really really good, the base game can be a little easy, but once you start adding expansions the difficulty ramps up nicely.

I have not tried Police Precinct, but it's one I keep on eyeing up, but never seem to pull the trigger on. Why I'm not sure. I do think it's a game I would enjoy.

I have a deep dislike for that game. Because of the subject matter. The mechanics of the game are great though.

Now there is a game that is on my 'must get round to buying, even if I never play it' list.

    In no particular order

    Dice Masters
    Kemet
    5 Tribes
    World of Warcraft TCG
    Yedo

Edit: I actually like the theme of Letters From Whitechapel because it fits the game so well.

This is going to be a tough one.

    1. Magic
    2. Warmachine/Hordes
    3. Dice Masters
    4. D&D
    5. X-wing Tied with the Pokemon TCG cause I can't choose between the two, haha.

Minis and TCGs are probably my only true weakness. I just can't stop...
I haven't played the Pokemon TCG since I was a kid, and I'm seriously counting the days until I feel that my son is old enough to learn how to play. Just so I have an excuse to play as well.
