    We are not sure if Magnetic Monster would blank the Magic Helmet ability if on a character with a <= 3 cost. It would also only be able to attach to a small percentage of characters.

    The Cannot on the helmet would trump the Can on magneto. This is a pretty clear definition of Cannot beating Can. This Helmet would DEFINITELY protect your 4> costs from being Magged, if they can equip that is.

    I think that the wording in this game is not clear enough, they need to pick a wording for cards and stick with it. Affected, targeted could be the same but since it's not the word target then it's unclear if they meant "cannot be targeted by your opponents abilities" also unless something good actually comes out that is equipable, this would be useless anyway. Here's hoping for D&D 2 to be better than 1 for constructed.

    I don't see the issue here. If something can't be effected it doesn't mean that it can't be targeted, it just means that targeting it would be pointless

    Given the Lantern Ring ruling at the tournament (more on that in a moment) the zombie Magneto would provide a way to cancel that ability on cheap characters - or so it would appear at this point . . . .

    Something that was clear despite the limited reporting was widespread usage of rare Lantern Ring. The ruling given at the event is not yet official, but the way it was played there is as follows: The damage done is considered character ability damage. Each individual attacking die triggers the ability.

    zmags stops power ring ability o the 3 cost or lower characters.

    Loki Laufeyson just got incredibly good. I also feel that in general, that anything giving a +x/+x to stats just got powerful as well, since once given they cant be removed. And that debatable detail hasn't even hit people yet. (Okay @Shadowmeld is probably already thinking about it)

    Anger Issues Action dice was specifically named, but there are a ton of them out there that grant stat bonuses.
